libhidapi-hidraw0 software package provides Multi-Platform library for communication with HID devices (hidraw backend), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libhidapi-hidraw0
libhidapi-hidraw0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libhidapi-hidraw0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libhidapi-hidraw0 *
You will get with libhidapi-hidraw0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
